• Search inputs you provide, such as your total budget, trip length, departure city, travel month, number of travellers, and ranked lifestyle preferences.
• Email address, if you choose to subscribe to destination ideas or contact us.
• Basic usage data collected through Google Analytics, such as pages visited, referrer, device type, and approximate location derived from IP address.

How we use your data

• To generate personalised destination recommendations.
• To improve the product — understanding which destinations, budgets, and preferences are most useful to travellers.
• To send occasional destination ideas by email, only if you have opted in.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies to help us measure aggregate traffic and behaviour. We do not use these cookies to identify you personally.

Affiliate tracking disclosure

Triptakeo uses affiliate links to accommodation partners including Agoda and Booking.com. If you click through and complete a booking on their site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those partners may set their own cookies once you leave Triptakeo — please see their respective privacy policies.

Data storage

Search inputs and email captures are stored on Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and access is restricted to Triptakeo systems.

Your rights
