The best time to visit Seminyak is May to September, the dry season, with sunny days and lower humidity. July, August and the Christmas–New Year weeks are busiest. November to March is wetter but quieter, with lower prices.
Spend the afternoons on Seminyak and Petitenget beaches and stay for the sunset. Eat Balinese and modern dishes along Jalan Petitenget, and browse the boutiques on Jalan Kayu Aya. Canggu's surf breaks and cafés are a short ride north, and Tanah Lot temple makes an easy half-day trip.
